More than two tonnes of electrical junk were handed over by Pomorye residents at the All-Russian campaign
On 15-16 October in Arkhangelsk, Sevodvinsk, Novodvinsk, Rikasikha and Laisky Dock, electric waste collection actions were held. The event was organised by the «Start with Yourself, Pomorie» eco-movement together with Arcticvtormet.
Northerners also joined the all-Russian campaign «ElectroCollection — 2022». Over the past weekend, activists collected more than two tonnes of recyclable materials. This rubbish will not go to landfills, but will be properly utilised.
«We actively work with the environmental movement «Start with yourself, Pomorie» and on a regular basis provide support in organising various environmental actions. As for the collection of «electrical waste», this year alone, about four tonnes of recyclable materials have been collected at eco-volunteer actions and at events organised in the region by Arcticvtormet employees. A huge amount of household electrical waste did not end up in a landfill and will be disposed of properly. If you don’t want to wait for the next campaign, you can take your appliances to our collection points for recycling. We accept such recyclables on a regular basis,» said a representative of Arcticvtormet.
